Encounters by Moonlight was born in 2007, after nine months of writing during a long break dedicated to rest. The book was fully revised and polished in January 2026.
This suspended time gave birth to a patient writing, attentive to silence and deeply human. I chose to sign this work under the name Simon Lero in tribute to my ancestor, a French pioneer settled in America, whose legacy and quiet strength permeate every line of this story.
